EVENT
The Teva Lea Xstream Race, run by the Derwent Canoe Club, is on again for 2008.
October 11th and 12th on the Lea River, Northern Tasmania.

Format
Teams of 2 paddlers will race against the clock down the grade 4 creek.

Entries Close Wednesday 8th October 2008.
Late entries will still be accepted by email until 12 noon Thursday 9th October. After this entries will need to be done at the Lea.

A late fee of $10 will apply to entries received after 8th October.
Signed entry forms, declarations, and fees MUST be submitted prior to 10:30am on race day. No entries will be accepted after 10:30am.

Prizes
Prizes wil be awarded to place getters, plus all competitors and volunteers will also go into a draw for various spot prizes.

Accommodation
Accommodation is at Weindorfers at Gowrie Park.
Cost is $10 (T.B.C.) for bunkhouse accomodation (byo linen).

Please do not camp on site at the Lea. The surrounding area is privately owned, and we want to keep our impact to a minimum. There are also NO facilities on site.

Presentation Dinner & Party
The presentation will also be held on Saturday night at the Weindorfers. Dinner will be catered for and live entertainment is provided. Extra dinner tickets can be booked and purchased with entries for $30.00 per person.
